Our family-run business company has a long tradition in the industry. It was founded in 1970 by Andy Proctor, at the time he was a site carpenter who subcontracted to large building companies and decided to set up his own business, and he has been running it ever since.
Andrew John Proctor
As the business owner & managing director Andy is generally desk based but spends a lot of time liaising with subcontractors, architects, planning officers and customers. He still drives the plant machinery on any available opportunity and is always on hand if required.

Catherine Proctor
Director
With a background in banking and book keeping, Catherine has been managing the paperwork and manning the phones since the company was founded.

Ruth Proctor-Schultze
Office Manager
Ruth has been with the company since 2004, originally Ruth was our chief plumber and was the first female in the UK to qualify for ground source heating systems. Since having children in 2011, Ruth is now office based.

Colin Pike
Foreman, Carpenter & general builder
Colin started working for Andy back in 1983, and in that time has mastered many aspects of the trade including plastering, carpentry, stone walling, brick laying, roofing and groundworks. There is almost nothing he cannot do.

Paul Proctor
Paul The Painter From Axminster, as featured on BBC Radio 2.
Painter, Decorator and Plasterer.
Paul has worked for the company since 2005 and has always enjoyed painting & decorating. He can also lay blocks, bricks, plasterboard & insulate as well as plaster and many other skills that have made him a valued asset to the company.
In recent years he has also been a regular feature on BBC Radio 2.

Lesley Schultze
Plumber, Welder, Carpenter and general Labourer
Les is the newest member of staff and started with the company in 2018. Being the youngest member of the team he is primarily a labourer but undertakes all basic carpentry and plumbing tasks, fitting bathrooms and radiators as well as welding.
